Opinions from Traxxas Bandit VXL Users
PRO'S
Lightweight, Durable, Easy to work on, Parts Readily Available.  Recommend you get the optional wheelie bar, and an RPM front bumper.
Great for jumping and bashing around
Unmatched when it comes to speed
Wheels are spaced properly for stability and at speeds is very stable
Super fast acceleration, suspension is pretty good probably not the best on the market, but takes jumps and landings well though.

CON'S
To reach 70 +mph speeds, battery and gearing changes will need to be made
High speed has its disadvantages, especially when you strike obstacles, can be costly

Final Thoughts
When it comes down to making the best choice for any driver you have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each model and make the best choice for your particular budget, driving style, terrain, and overall expectations.
