The Arrma platform can be upgraded at any time with optional Aluminum TVP chassis plates, adding strength and durability to the ride.
The chassis is surrounded by a durable polycarbonate body-shell with pre-applied decals.
A durable nylon black wing increases stability at high speeds, and completes its desert buggy appearance.
Oil Filled Shocks - No matter how hard you intend to drive, the oil filled ultra-tough shock absorbers are designed to handle the stability of the RC Buggy
These shocks from Arrma are easily tuned with silicone oils of different viscosities, giving you the control you expect from Arrma as your vehicle reacts to various terrain.
In order to withstand all the punishment durable shock shafts and springs are utilized to meet the challenge.
Waterproof Steering Servo -Mounted in the Arrma Raider chassis is the ADS-7m Servo with all metal gears, for long-term durability and increased strength. The case size is standard for the industry ( 40mm x 38mm x 20mm) so the servo can be conveniently utilized in other r/c models
The servo reaches full articulation in 0.14 to 0.12 sec. It operates at 6kg-cm / 6.5 kg-cm 6V / 7.2V

Was pleasantly surprised how fast and responsive the throttle control was with NiMH battery
Jumps very well, balanced and stable in the air
Rear tires lacked grip.........so I ended up replacing them
Final Thoughts
The Arrma Raider XL BLX definitely has the speed. Stability and handling are good. The car does have a few issues that drivers have had and passed on to Arrma, and hopefully some changes in the future are in the works.
Overall the car handles well, and the chassis is durable, the pro's do outweigh the con's.
