2 Versions Available
Aton
This model includes a fixed mount for your GoPro camera. The battery included with this version is a 3 cell 11.1V 3000mAh LiPo battery.
Aton Plus
Includes a 2 axis gimble with mount for GoPro 3 and 4 series cameras. The Aton plus includes a 11.1V 5000mAh LiPo battery.
Three Flight modes are available on the Aton, Film, Sport, and Expert.
Film Mode
Film mode is the easiest mode with no previous flight experience required. Designed for a noise free and quiet operation. The setup is not complicated and there is no calibration required. Return to home and auto take-off are featured in film mode. Capture Aerial images and video with your go-pro or action camera.
Sport Mode
Makes it easy to explore and learn with more pilot control. Unlocks full throttle control, for a faster more athletic style of flying. Aton's 6 axis flight stability assists while keeping the safety of air brakes and return to home at hand with a simple press of a button. More speed in sport mode allows you to film fast moving objects. Maneuvers like aerobatic rolls and flips can be performed with a press of a button on the controller.
Expert Mode
Experience all the performance capabilities of the Traxxas Aton in expert mode. Thrilling and exciting aerobatic flight and maximum speed can be achieved in expert mode. The safety of air brakes and return to home are still there if the emergency situation arises. Air brakes bring the Aton to a stop while hovering in place. Settings can be Customized with the Traxxas Link App.

Safety Features
(1) To keep the Aton safe and the pilot out of trouble a great feature is the GPS enabled boundary called Geo-fencing which is set at approximately 500'. If you fly outside the set boundary the Aton returns to home.
(2) A low voltage feature is enabled on the Aton. Before the battery is totally discharged 3 levels of warning are given. The first is a beep every 5 seconds, the second warning is a continuous beep, and finally the third the Aton will return to home, land, and disarm all by itself. Nice ! Prevents you from losing your Aton.
High Visibility-LED Lighting
To maintain your directional orientation bright LED lights on the Aton light up the sky for amazing nightime flying.
Status Bar
At a glance it is easy to understand without having to reference the instruction manual. Aton's Bright LED status bar with 4 bright LED's insure and inform you that all systems are ready for take-off.

DISADVANTAGES
Wobble in Fast Yaw
Reports that the Traxxas Aton wobbles a bit when given fast yaw inputs. Not apparent in a slow yaw.
Gimbal Adjustments
Reports that adjustments and tuning may be required to capture good quality video with the 2 axis Gimbal and GoPro camera.
